We give Little Sprouts Packs, full of essential baby items, to babies in need.

These packs help ensure that babies in need are kept healthy, warm and safe and are given every chance to thrive.

This is a practical way to help families struggling to provide for their babies, including families that:

  • Are seeking refuge at shelters, such as the Women’s Refuge.
  • Are refugees trying to build a new life in New Zealand, without family or friends.
  • Have lost everything due to a disaster, such as a fire.

Each Little Sprouts baby is given a New Born Pack, an Infant Pack, or an Emergency Pack. We also give baby items to places that look after babies in need, such as refuges.

We work closely with other charities to find those babies that need us the most.

There are many ways that you can help Little Sprouts (see How Can I Help). You can:

  • Donate new items, or great quality used items, for babies up to 1 year old.
  • Sponsor a Little Sprouts Pack.
  • Donate money to Little Sprouts, or items that we could use for fundraising.
  • Volunteer your time to help us.
You could work with your workmates, employer, local school, friends, church or your coffee group to collect baby items, volunteer your time, or raise funds.
